are chinese grocery stores cheaper than indian grocery store in edison?

    we just moved in edison.i heard chinese stores are cheaper here.are they cheap for the produce too.

    As per my knowledge, i don't think so.

    Let wait for others response, as of now i tried in Farmer's market and patel...i think it was cheap in patel itself.

    Milk is $3.-- in Farmer's Market, in Patel its $2.29 only.

    Hi Renu,

    There is a farmer's market on Route 27 close to the dominios pizza. I am not sure if they make so much difference in price.. but definitely feel that their fruits and veges last few days longer than bought in regular grocery store.Also I found their fruits to be much sweeter too.

    There's AFC..Asian Food Center on Centennial Avenue...same complex as Walmart. They have a huge supply of fresh and cheap vegetables. Also a fresh fish counter where u can get Indian fish like pomfret, Macquerel and King Fish. Hope this helps.:)
