    Hi Everyone,
Did anyone tasted an apple cake which is ball shaped ,dark brown in color coated with grated powdered coconut ( or sugar I am not sure) and rich in moisture. I had this apple cake from Bangalore bakeries and I love them. I hope you guys understood what I am referring to. :)

Can anyone help me finding out the recipe for Apple cake? :hide:

Even I love those yummy cakes, But not sure whether they add any apple in that. I too came with a similar thread asking for recipe a year back, but got no replies. Its also found in almost all bakeries in Chennai and I prefer the ones from Mcrennett.

    I too love these cakes....

I have heard that these apple cakes are made from the leftovers of all cake scrapes made in bakeries. Dont know how far it is true.....

JM & Sons, Ayyar & Co. cakes in Coimbatore tastes really good.

Ooooh my mouth is watering. After long you have reminded us of this delicacy. We buy them from McRenett bakery. There is no apple in them. I think it is just the round shape and the taste that is similar to an apple.
