    hai tanoshii and gaya3,

My idea is, first we set some goal, which level (JLPT N3 or ..) we are going to prepare for JLPT exam in the month of june 2012 / December 2012. First, we finalize these matter and then we prepare the chart to study according to that.

    thanks and regards

    sabitha

    Konnichiwa mina san,

    Ogenki desuka.
Ladies I'm game with setting the goal and starting fresh. I too need some revision before I go to the exam portion.

Gaya3, if you'd like to start fresh, you could try the same. Get started with the N5 vocabulary and work on a few Kanji every week. And Grammar and kikitori would be the next step. If you can't find a class near where you live, try for correspondence courses from Japan or from India like Sabita mentioned. There are quite a few centres offering it. But I studies for the first year by myself and it was pretty much all from the internet.

    Sabita,
I guess I can try the N3 exam in December 2012. And yeah, got to set the target and go at it this time. And yeah, I'd like a chart too to set the timetable for the coming months. How do you plan to go about it?

Swaathiha, you could start with the script first and work you way up slowly.
You can find basic instructions here: Hiragana Lessons - How to write hiragana

I used this website for the material for all levels: About the JLPT
Right now am using Kumon material too to practise writing and grammar.

    Looking forward to lift off!!:thumbsup
    Ganbatte!!!

    Dear Friends,
I've started with N5 vocabulary now.

Do you have any idea about JLPT exams taking online?
Say if I take up the JLPT correspondence programme for N5, is there anyway I can take up the exams without coming to India? :hide:

    Thanks for that Alpa.

And Gaya3, you can write the JLPT exam anywhere in the world. Usually many cities in many countries conduct the exam.
Here is the information about applying and taking the exam from an overseas centre :

Good to know you've started with the vocabulary for N5. I'll too start right away. Hopefully will be able to finish the vocabulary in 2 weeks. All the best to you too :)
