    My husband is moving to LA state.Is there anybody staying in baton raouge area.could u pls share the area details?

    I am frequent visitor of baton rouge. Its a good place with low cost of living. Not to scare you its highly populate with African Americans and as it is low laying area there are is possible hurricane treat during summer. Good part is there is a datta temple on equity drive, please visit the temple during weekends and festival days, I am sure you can make good friends.

    hai,
    we live in praireville la which is suburb of south batonrouge.Its not that
    scary place.South batonrouge is a nice place to live in.

    Thanks all for ur replies..Right Nw my husband stays in hotel.He finds difficulty in finding a single Bed room? Can we get a single BR bet 500 - 600$ there?

    In batonrouge if u want a decent apt u need to pay atleast 800$ i think.R u from TamilNadu ?If so I have one friend from Tamilnadu here in batonrouge.They live in Ivypark apts in south Batonrouge.Dont go for north batonrouge as there is lot of black community.

    We've been living here for the past eight years. Never felt the place scary. In fact its a friendly city with some indian communities too.
