Greetings! I just would like to know any receipe using raw coconut which is just smelling a bit. Other than thengai milagaipodi. Regards Vijiramanan
If it is not very smelly and not tasting sour, you can make masala curry with Potato or breadfruit. 1. Boil the veggies seperatly with salt and turmeric powder. 2. Dry roast coconut, fennel seed, red chilli, coriander powder, and curry leaves.Coconut has to reach medium brown color (keep in sim). Grind it along with water. 3. And the grinded mixture to the boiled vegie. Let it boil for some time (5 minutes). 4.While it boils, make seasoning. Put a small kadai on stove. Put 1 tablespoon oil, Add mustard seeds, small onion and little more curry leaves. Pour it over the curry. Add coriander leaves as garnish.
Greetings! Thank you for the receipe. I shall try the same. Yes, the coconut is not smelling much just slightly. Thank you Regards Vijiramanan

Hi, I have one recipe for such coconuts called sannapolo (konkani recipe). 1/2 coconut shredded 5 to 6 roasted chilli (depending upon your heat tolerance, u can increase it or decrease it). 2 tsps of tamarind paste 1/2 cup of soaked rice salt to taste 3 to 4 medium sized online chopped finely( so that it can cook faster) Grind first 3 ingredients in mixie very smoothly then add soaked rice and grind it to smooth paste. Add salt and taste to adjust salt or chilli. Take it to a bowl and add onions. Heat tawa and place a ladleful batter spread it like a dosa, smear some oil and fry both sides. You make 3 small at a time or 1 big dosa. You can keep the batter in the fridge without onions for 2 to 3 days. It tastes good with simple dal and rice. Enjoy, Shreya
Greetings! Thank you for the receipe. I shall definitely try this receipe. Thanks a lot. Regards Vijiramanan
Hi, I forgot to mention that you have to use red chillis( may be guntur chilli) not green chillis. Regards, Shreya
