    I have Sony Digital camera and it is really good and easy to carry also and the picture clarity is good. Iam not sure about the price since i got it from abroad some one and half years back.

    Hi I have bought 2 digi cam and 2 camcorder

    1) Canon Digi cam 6 Mega pixel = 170$
    2) Sony 8 Mega Pixel = 300$
    3) JVC 30 GB Hard disk = 500 $
    4) Sony 20 to 30 GB (not sure of the GB) hard disk camcorder. = 900$

    By vote will go for Canon 8 Mega pixel (my friend bought) and JVC Camcorder..

    Am reviving an old thread. I would like to buy a digital camera for around 300$. Can you please suggest me a good Brand and model. i am unable to decide between Sony and canon. Your suggestions are valuable to me
