any hair growth on face if we apply olive oil

Hi

I am mythili joined recently.
This is a wonderful site for ladies to share our views & our problems too if there.

I have a doubt that my mother always says that don't use hair oil on ur face or even don't comb oily hair by making them to touch the cheeks as the hair on it grows.I too felt that a liitle bit of it has grown or even make them look black.

I don't know whether my opinion is correct or not.Can any one suggest whether I can apply olive oil on my face without any problem & if so then how long will be better to keep it like that.(having a complete dry skin).

Hi Mythili,

Welcome to IL.
Regarding your post,,well I personally feel that it is not true.

But it is better to avoid using scented coconot oils that we normally use for hair ,on our face as the perfumes used might cause infections and blemishes for some.
However since you have mentioned that you have a dry skin, it is a very good idea to apply coconut oil/olive oil on to the face and massage gently, leave it for around 1/2 an hour and then go for bath.
Besides you can also try using vitamin E oils as well.

For reducing the hair growth, you can mix turmeric with besan and curd and apply on ur face probably once a week and this will mar the hair growth as well make the skin color lighter.
