I am so in love with Jagjit Singh's Ghazals and his beautiful voice. And i cannot even understand Hindi I cannot find any other artist who compares. It would be worth a trip to any country to see him live in concert Alas he died at young age Please recommend any Ghazal artists of this cailber I never understood why people went to live concerts with the advent of radio, tv, YouTUBE, but now I know the live experience is incomparable Please guide. Listening to such talented artists with voices of Angels is money well-spent

Never mind that you’re ignorant of the language of lyrics. The tune and sound have that soothing vibrations are enough to get into our various realms in the body to harmonise our mind. The rhythm sets in and one is happy after the music played. The silence that follows at the end of play itself is powerful.
He was seventy when he passed away? Young? Ghazal singers of his caliber ... it is hard to compare singers but I always find Farida Khanum soulful.
