AM PROUD OF BHARATMATHA HANDLING COVID -19 Just take a look at the approximate no. of deaths due to Covid-19, per million population in descending order of total lives perished as at IST 1200 hrs on 2nd May 2020: ( All figures - deaths per million population) Belgium- 630 Spain- 503 Italy- 446 France- 347 UK- 317 Holland- 262 Ireland- 227 Sweden- 223 Switzerland-195 US- 171 Portugal- 90 Canada- 76 Germany- 73 And now hold your breath..... India- 0.76 deaths per million population Are we poor, third-world nation? 2. Are they right - TV channels scream and rant that the Government isn't doing enough, 3. Are Doomsday day predictions applicable for India? 4. It looks that India is doing something right. 5. A section of the world harps that that India is just not testing enough but nobody can deny that at least death figures can't be fudged. 6. So am proud of India now too.
