    Biography

    Sobhan Babu was a Telugu film actor. He played romantic leading man roles in Telugu films from the 1960s to 1980s, and was a top box office draw for a long time. His original name is Uppu Sobhanachalapathi Rao. He was born on the 14th January, 1937. and now expired at chennai today 20-03-2008

    Shobhan Babu who is known to all as a Rasikudu in Tollywood with his hairy chest passed way some time hours ago. He was admitted into Apollo hospital Chennai where he breathed his last breathe.

    Shobhan Babu was famous with young girls and among married woman, as he was a great rasikudu on screen and many women drooled over his hairy chest. He acted in many films as a side actor and then as a hero with actresses like Vanisree, Jayaprada, Jayasudha, Sridevi, Aamani, Soundarya and many more.
    May, his soul rest in peace!

    How can you say 'My deepest condolences to him' when he is already dead.
    Say instead 'My deepest condolences to his bereaved family' That will
    make sense.
