As far as Harish is concerned, his life lies elsewhere, had he even mentioned a remote interest to Varsha, things would have turned sour. As you know, she was never interested in him that way; first of all because he was her best friend's boyfriedn, and mainly because by then Madhu had become an important part of her life. so that's life.
