8 Saturdays deeparadhana for Lord Venkateshwara

Thanks for sharing the pooja. i know they do 7 saturday vratham for balaji (Yedushanivaramala Noomu) this is new to me.....

A small doubt they say we should not lit single deepam to god (I dont know properly please correct me if i am wrong) so can we lit 8 small deepam with 8 small wick and pray.

can we chant vishnu sahasranamam or venkateshwara gadyam

Hi Anu,

Lord venkateshwara always expects interest it seems.that is why we do for 8 weeks with 8 wicks.As far as I know there is nothing wrong in putting single diya.try to twist to wicks into one wick n light diya.I was told to put 8 wicks in single diya,so I shared the same with you.I am doing the same dear.You can chant vishnu sahasranamam according to your interest.

I read the whole blog. I want to perform this pooja.I want know that We have to perform this pooja 8 weeks in a row (8 Saturdays in a row)? because of the menstrual cycle am asking. I will be great full if you could brief me about this.
