Yesterday matches were simply superbb. First one between Germany - England, became one sided match with Germany dominating England from the start of the match ending with 4-1 I m sorry Gayathri....:thumbsup And in another match between maradonna's boys and mexicans. The match was really thrill though Argentina's boys dominated in first half with 3 goals where during the first goal it was slightly disputed. Yet it is a goal and mexicans managed a goal in the second half. where they really played well as maradona's boys played a defence game later.. After every goal of Argentina, Everyone must have watched maradona who was jumping here and there as a kid. (Oh god thinking of what happens if Argentina wins the cup):hide: At the end of the day, it was Germany and Argentina who have made it to quaters. Lets see who is going to the next round
Jaya... thanks yaar:drowning :bang Wat a match between England and Germany - I just couldn't believe my eyes! Ha .. Germany did well - they attacked well too (but the end of statistics showed that England made more number of attempts for the goal than Germany, but pooo poo abouts the actual goals!) England did loose hope during the end though, which was understandable, but the disputable goal that wasn't by England did push England's moral furthur down I think! Anyways, they are out for the next 4 years!:rant Argentina has so strongly performed throughout, they have done well, I couldn't see that match - but thanks for the accounts, I do hope to get a glimpse of the highlights if possible... So its Ghana, Paraguay , Geramy and Argentina in the quarter finals isn't it?
Hope everyone would never missed yesterday's matches Between Nederland and Slovakia, the match went fine with Nederland beating Slovakia 2-1 and entered Super 8 Next match was between Brazil and Chile where Brazil won by 3-0. Brazil never dominated the match until 34' where they had their first goal. then was next in 38' and 3rd in 59'. I would say Chile had the better play yesterday but the saddest part was they could never put the goal as brazil had strong 4-5 defenders near the net. So the teams selected for quarter finals and their matches are between URUGUAY Vs GHANA NEDERLAND Vs BRAZIL ARGENTINA Vs GERMANY And the matches today will decide the last two teams todays matches are between Paraguay Vs Japan Spain Vs Portugal Let wait and see who is going be the last two in Super 8 .
