    Hi,

Enjoyed the narration and your subtle play with words that makes

    the reader smile unconsciously...

Esp. when you described the MILs worry abt the snils transformation:)

    Dear Rrg

As always, loved reading it and enjoyed a lot. I think it is time for me to start going through your threads again !!

I find myself exactly like the SIL in my beliefs. I am beginning to possibly search for answers now, but then find all this too heavy an explanation and I revert back to my comfort zone.

It was hilarious to read how the MIL becomes concerned about the fastracked transformation of the SIL !!!

    Sir,
This story of Bala and his mil..reminded me of a story which we often used to hear that father-son-donkey and the villagers...who would complain, if the father is on the donkey, would complain if the son was on the donkey, and even so the baggage was on the donkey..
What one can do with these people around...your solution is great..
But Bala should be careful..if he is going to continue the same..mil would really brand him as 'looney'..:)

    Dear Sri,
    Thanks for your FB.
Similar sentiments about Bala continuing to bahave so was expressed by my SIL also. I thought I had clarified when I said -
meaning Bala was out of his 'so called spiritual persuit' and was back to samsaara bhandham - becoming a father once again in 18 months.
Also, that MIL had no complaints eventhough Bala had reverted back to his older self - as it was any day better than his spiritual avatar. Similarly, Bala had no complints against MIL as she had stopped pumping him with more and more of her spiritual inputs.
Perhaps, I should have made it clearer.
    Thanks for bringing it out.
    Cheers!
    Rrg
