    The advts about fairness creams are quite silly as Sandhya has rightly pointed out . But now the good thing is that they have similar advts for men too ! Now we have truly become a nation obsessed with the color of the skin .
    It seems beauty is really skin deep !

    Hi Flowerlady,

    Even I find this distasteful . No lady would let a child behave like that - however sad she is.

    Another set of ads i find YUCKS! are toilet cleaners ads

    I cant sit thro them showing dirty pottys in tight close up:rant:rant

    Couple of things i hate are
    1) how come doctors wear their coats while playing with their kids, or even whilecleaning their toilets?-its just a gimmick to show that docs endorse their product :bang
    2)whats up with the energy drink ads !- boost ,complan, horlicks etc.they keep claiming "ootachathu" millions of times . they say 'we did a study in building a and b,this is our result , if u drink complan u grow 6cm , with something else its 3cm :idontgetit:,blah blah- soo annoying

    The advts which show middle-aged women in poor light and the men smirk make me mad !
    An advt shows a middle-aged couple having dinner in a restruant and the man eying younger women, the poor woman realises that she has lost her husbands attention/ affections and she starts using xxx cream (exhorbitantly priced !) to look young !
    What happened to aging gracefully ??

    I dread Hamam ad, where the lady says" my daughter will get pimples and loose confidence loose blah... blah and blah...." this is heights of exaggeration. Come on its just a soap, and just by getting pimple/bad skin if some one looses confidence, explain "Ashish vidyarthi" to me...

    Even recently I saw this surf excel ad...........what a pathetic idea that ad creative head got......??
    Nonsense! how can they show a child acting as a dog??

    YAAK ads are Toilet cleaners. Sometimes they come during lunch or dinner times, to test audience patience.

    I too agree with your thoughts.

    Fairness cream ads are awful.

    U dont need to look beatiful to acheive in life.

    How many successful people are having great looks???

    This simply conveys a wrong message to viewers, especially, youngsters.

    The advt about water purifer Puritt is quite UGH , the customer spurts out water on the salesman (wearing a yellow raincoat ) on hearing the price !
