Me too sailing in the sAme boat, even i dont know to make soft chappathi's and sometimes i even struggle to roll chapathi's and my DH is diabetic, so iam supposed to make it daily, to put this war to an end, i purchased TORTILLA ROTI MAKER 20 days back from ICE, CONSUMER EXHIBITION, chennai and after proper DEMO from service person, now iam making FLUFFY/LAYERED/SOFT roti's within short time

for doing roti in roti maker ,dough should be little bit sticky and it also should be kneaded like kneading thread for lighting lamp only then roti's are soft like we should not roll it like ball with our palm instead have to do like , in tamil we used to say THIRI THIRIKARADHU for lamp

Actual price was 2300/- and exhibition price is 1900/- and 1 year warranty

and, it is also available with other vessel merchants like Rathna stores t.Nagar , but in diff brands, say, VIJAY, CHEF MASTER etc and they all cost around 1200 -1400 only and 1 year warranty

For all those who are looking for Chappati maker.

You can buy it in Iranian shops in Bur dubai near Bank of Baroda. Before marshreq bank same lane. There are 2 iranian shops full of cheap and good quality kitchen stuff.

Also check out Khiara stores near Choithram in Meena Bazar.

 

I managed to buy chapathi maker - Geepas Brand yesterday for 120 Dirhams after bargain.
We get it at Dragon mart - A shop opposite to Sun Tour restaurant near EA Exit.
