Try our simple sambar!! My cousin always eats her chappati with thick sambar. I was critical about it until one day I tried it and it is really a good combination!!!

Chappati is such a versatile item of the diet. It goes well with everything. Try Dals, vegetables (dry or gravy) and all non-vegetarian dishes. Chappatis are much easier on the diet compared to naans and rotis.
The quickest thing you can have with chappati is curd. Whip the curd till smooth. Temper it with very fine chopped curry leaves, jeera, mustard, finely chopped ginger and green chillies. Pour this tempering on the yoghurt. Adjust salt to tast. Put in finely chopped coriander and voila!!! there you go....

    cabbage, onion and tomatoes

    brinjal, onion and tomatoes,

    avaraikkay, brinjal, tomatoes

    onion and tomatoes

    cauliflower, carrot, peas and tomatoes

    lady finger , onion

    capsicum ,onion, tomatoes and garlic

    dondaikkai onion

    chow-chow onion, tomato

You can have these combination in a dry way or gravy as you like. You can add for every thing garlic ginger paste to add flavour.
