hi, i am planning to visit tirunelveli ...for offering prayers at sankaran kovil and thiruchendur. pl. let me know of some good [COLOR=green! important][COLOR=green! important]hotels[/COLOR][/COLOR] to stay..and also how do i commute to this two temples.. do i need to take taxi or bus services are good ?are they very far from junction. also are there any other [COLOR=green! important][COLOR=green! important]tourist [COLOR=green! important]spots[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR] like kutralam or mani muthar near by i can visit. I am planning to be there for 4 days. any suggestions.welcome thanks, Prabha
Dear Il, If your plan is for 4 days only ytou will have to go be a car and you can cover Tirunelveli,Thiruchendur, Kutralam and Manimuthar. All the places you mentioned are very nice. You try to stay in Kutralam one full day. so that you can have bath in all falls. You will have nice experience. kaverivenkat
Dear Prabha, Well You have planned to visit shankaran Koil. You can take a cab from Madurai and visit Thirunelveli, Tiruchendur, Shankarankoil and Srivalliputur. Your idea of visiting Kurtalam and Manimutharu is also okay. .

Dear Prabha Greetings Happy to note that u r above to visit Sankarankovil and Thiruchendur- the abode of 2 powerful deities Instead of going to Junction old bus stand, u can go to new busstand from where u can get into LSSbuses(for Tiruchendur it itakes 1 hr 30 mints, for Sankarankovil it takes 1 hr 20 mints) In tIruchendur u can stay in temple guesthose or stay at HOTEL MANI IYER or u stay in tirunelveli(Hotel Aryas where stay is good or Hotel Janakiram where food is VERYGOOD) and go to these places and come back ALL THE BEST Regs Pechi
