    Hi all,

    Happy Diwali to all of you in advance!!!
    I have also started cleaning my home.Shopping is also started.
    I bought Rangoli,Parde new clothes.I am wearing new Red color Sari.Blouse need to be stitched.Now I am planning to purchase Candles,Deepak,lights.
    Next I will shop the ingredients of Dishes What I going to cook on Diwali.
    Dishes are yet to be decided.

    This Diwali I am planning to buy new car and some gold jewelery.

    Hi Prabha,

    how exciting diwali is.............planning to make some coconut burfis, mysore pak, mixture, murukku, how about you dear...............
    yet to buy some crackers for children
    every diwali we go to the nearby slums and distribute sweets and crackers to those needy children...........that is the most happiest moment we enjoy on diwali........so much happiness on those kids face

    Hi Prabha,

    I like your name , it is one of my favorites.
    No Yaar this is just my first in India after marriage. We were in Helsinki for 3 years and could not plan a vacation on any of the first 3 diwalis. So a bit excited to celebrate it here this year.

    hi padma,

    Giving sweets & gifts to needy children is the best thing one could do on a diwali day.
    we will also do the same this time.
    Meeting friends is the only exciting thing in hyd.
    It will not be like being in chennai.......
    We are also planning to buy nice gifts for our maid servant.

    my first diwali and my family doesn't do much for diwali (we're from the south) but i am all about finding a reason to celebrate and cook.. so my potential menu looks like this:

    Mysore Pak
    Pakoras
    Apple crumbcake
    Dhaniya cookies
    Payasam

    Dinner:
    No clue - not sure if DH wants Indian or American food..

    Hello,

    Lots of plans are there for Diwali.
    I have to do shopping.I made Long list.Missing India very much for Diwali.
    Diwali is grand festival in India.My Cleaning is pending.
    I have to clean my house from each and every corner.
    This month will be very busy for me.

    Rangoli ,Dress,Recipe,Shopping these are the things which I need to concentrate.
