What Unites People- Helplessness

WHAT UNITES PEOPLE- TOLERANCE

He is echoing his belief which is largely true except that color bias exists. However, America has achieved a lot despite this. They have long back come out of cultural and religious differences.

Can we say the same thing about India? The answer sadly is 'no'. Modi also came to power on the development plank. Because that is what a smart politician will do. It is another matter that the country is divided on communal lines. India is a multicultural and multi-religious country and that fact cannot be whisked away. If it is a majority-minority issue in the whole country, it is Jallikuttu in Tamilnadu or animal sacrifice in the north.

The only unifying factor is tolerance with respect not with helplessness. As long as it does not interfere with our personal lives and beliefs, we should let people practice freely what they believe. NGOs should also know that traditions matter.
