Is it okay to share online link for Sai Vrath book after Sai Vrath completion for 9 weeks? or its better to share paper copies in person as i know you have to share to 5,9 or 11 or 21 people. when we share online not sure how many will even view the book and more than the above mentioned number of people will atleast view the post. is it still as effective as sharing books in person. Basically i want to make sure i completed formalities and the rules of Vrath properly to get the blessings of Baba for my baby who is having health issues and in very much need of Baba's mercy and blessing and ofcourse prayers and blessings from you all readers too
I don't know the answer but I wish good health and long life to your baby.. May God bless your child...
Hi Prayers for the speedy recovery of your baby. I can understand your anxiety in completing the formalities. I have done 9 weeks fasting in the past and I also don't know many ppl whom I can distribute the books to and even if I try and find I am not sure whether ppl will like it or may feel I am forcing sai vrat on them. So I don't do that part. Baba is the most merciful. He will surely fulfill our prayers even if we don't complete the formalities. Just do the pooja and fasting part and food distribution part. That's enough. Just 2 weeks for my fasting to get over. And I am not going to distribute books this time either. This was suggested in earlier days to spread babas fame and in turn to help ppl benefit from babas blessings. But these days it's rare to see ppl who don't know Baba. So don't fret over it. He always knows what we can and what we can't and he never punishes us for that.
OP I don’t know about this vrat. I am keeping your baby in my prayers. May god bless her speedy recovery.
@nnsa Faith moves mountains so said swami vivekananda. Faith dispel ignorance so said another saint. Faith with patience one's prayers read favours are granted. Your concern or anxiety to fulfil vrath as per known convention itself would bring the cheers needed to your baby & you. @nnsa Yes I too feel its ok when you are in a place where you cannot fulfill the formalities. Satcharitra says to feed food to dogs, etc or I have seen ladies distributing books after 9 weeks vrat. When someone doesn't find physical copy of book they printed online pdf and distributed ? So these versions are all developed by humans for their convenience. What we need is just shraddha and saburi. Hope you get the intended result.
Hi, let me tell you... I live in India and I am a big believer of sri shirdi saibaba. I have done 9thuirs fast and also sai divya puja many times.. I used to distribute the books and prasadam as per instruction in the books but I noticed that people are not interested in taking books either as they dont wish to do vratam or already they have got books . So I stopped buying books though its easily available here. I just donate money to annadanam in a temple or any organisation(during lockdown or even otherwise during this covid phase) or else I distribute food in saibaba temple. I believe the main agenda to distribute books were to spread the awareness of the miracles of saibaba. Some of the agenda is also to earn more money by the publishers. As long as you did the puja with sincerr devotion, have mental peace... You should not worry about the rules and regulations. After all, saibaba never kept any rules... Nor did any other God/Goddess.
This response would be at tangent to the central idea here. Few days before mother or dad’s every anniversary, I personally visit a temple and offer a cheque for certain amount for Anna Dhanam to be organised by temple authorities on the day of dad/mom’s anniversary. On my way to temple, I happen to meet a friend who offered lift. When he came to know am visiting a temple and the purpose, he said politely that he should not be mistaken for his view that in temple all well to do devotees enjoy the food served on banana leaf and few would even collect parcel for home whereas in orphanages young ones handicapped old are fed. The food goes to real poor ones who hardly get varieties. And suggested that I must consider festival type meal arranged and served with my spouse to orphanage children or in some other old age home. I spoke to spouse and she said there is sense in myfriend’s suggestion . So I googled found an orphanage and proceeded to their home .....
