2021 now..things r getting worse.. even if we are fully vaccinated which will take quite some time.. my guess is back to square 1 will be 2023.. Please be safe all.god bless
One day on the news channels we will see 'No cases of covid reported from across the country' One day we will read the headlines 'No covid deaths reported today' One day we will see ourselves flocking with long ques at the airports. One day we will see off our kids in school van. One day we will see the board of 'HouseFull' at the cinema hall. One day we will freely hug and dance at the wedding together. We all are waiting for that ONE DAY We are facing one of the toughest times in human history ever, but this too shall pass, its just a phase. Lets keep ourself motivated, back ourselves up and look forward to help others in whatever way we can. I would like to quote few lines दिल ना उम्मीद तो नहीं नाकाम ही तो है, लंबी है ग़म की शाम मगर शाम ही तो है... Let's remain positive, spread positivity and keep the faith
Nations All around India, there is no second wave. 2. This gives raise to some lobbies working against India. Some even term this as biological war against emergence of India as super power. 3. Pharma lobby oil lobby etc are indicative they say. How all of a sudden India is gripped with second wave so sharp so powerful that gargantuan efforts are needed despite international helping hands & huge shortages of personnel, medicine and beds. 4. I am worried stiff, yet am positive that @messedup 's “ ONE DAY” would soon arrive here & everywhere!
True there is no second wave its a Tsunami Must be the handiwork of Pakistan, that's Modi's favorite excuse.
Yes, things are pretty gloomy especially where India is concerned. There are news and tidbits all over the media each giving their own view of the situation and playing the blame game against the government etc. On the positive side there has been continuous efforts almost herculean ever since all this started by manufacture/procurement of vaccines etc on war footing and successful too to a large extent given the time frame they have/had. Let us not play the blame game and appreciate the efforts all round by the government, NGOs , social workers and plenty of good samaritans doing their best in the given circumstances. Ofcourse on the other side there are the bad elements as always, trying tp make a killing out of this by overcharging, hoarding of essentials even at the cost of lives being lost. We can only be positive and pray for the people who are at the forefront and doing their best in all sincerity and the unfortunate families who are suffering loss of lives , untold financial losses at this time. I believe the world is still a good place and there are good humans and we will all come out of the current situation soon.
My guess by 2024 or even beyond. The rate of vaccination in different countries are so varied and to ensure every country is safe requires that most countries are on same foot. So maybe 2024 or even later to reach pre pandemic level.
At the beginning we all understood that the pandemic will only harvest those who have already had a good innings, and leave the young people behind. And now, in this second wave, there are many dead who are young. when the covid pandemic ends, we'd have a lot of sad families who have to readjust to the new realities.
