How To Reduce Duration Of In Laws Visit?

    The problem is they are used to all service from you. In some way,you spoiled them. Now if you say NO,they can't accept it.
    Don't talk in negative way or complaining way, but use a neutral way to tell your husband that he has to help you with cooking/ household jobs if he wants full service for his parents. You alone can't do it. If he do, his mother will step in for sure. You should sound as if you want them to be happy but you are helpless.

    You have to be smart and find ways to say no in other ways. When they ask, you can tell you will do it later as you are busy with something else, keep postponing, say you forgot, feeling tired...find excuses or even silence. Be ready with excuses. As they dont provide childcare, use that as a great excuse.
    You have to find time for yourself every day. Dont sacrifice that time for others. Be firm to yourself. Only you can do something.

    Please stop giving excuses of why it wont work. You have the advices already of what you need to do to change the way things are around you. If you don't take actions, nothing will change.
