    I came back to this thread, because of a like-alert. Here is something interesting for hindi speakers... there are many words in Persian that have been adapted into Hindi. Words for Heart and Liver are a couple of such things.

    Liver is often served in college dorms in America. It is not a usual thing to cook in Indian homes. However, a slice of liver on sizzling butter, with some ginger-garlic paste (no salt, no pepper), shallow fried on both sides is a delicacy that children who had endured college-dorm menu's liver would love.

    I do this too..Id say oh you know I cleaned extra today.. its not (practical to be)always this spic and span..:facepalm: May be being too honest..(not required:))
