    I was trying to recall this one. Mind got stuck repeatedly at jhuki jhuki and auto-complete didn't happen. : )

    teer-e-nazar dekhenge



    This was the favorite song of a senior in school. A senior who was special to many juniors. : ) During practice for cultural festivals etc, as we played antakshari in breaks, he would tell us the history of the song and the movie.. Meena Kumari was too sick to picturize some songs, so the dance steps were kept simple, and for faster ones, Padma Khanna was the dancer.

    Geeta Dutt is One of my favorite singers and her voice mesmerizes in the song "piyaa ayeso jiyaa mein samaay gayo re". The word nazar comes almost end of the song.

    Is dar se ke pee kee Nazar naa lage
    Zat nainan mein kajaraa lagaa
