Epidural - Your Take?

    Thank you all for sharing your experience and wishes. Glad my doubts about epidural has been clarified. But like many of you suggested, I am going to keep an open mind. I shall decide based on whether I am able to manage the pain. BTW, I have signed up for birthing classes. Not sure how it would be, but at least I am not scared about the labor part for now :)

    After posting realized just 10 more weeks for the delivery, exactly the number of weeks I was on PIO shots. Time does fly fast :)

    Wanted to update:

    Blessed with a baby boy on Oct 11th. It was a normal delivery and I have become a fan of epidural. I somehow managed the pain until 5 cm, but then took it and the delivery went much better and easier. Can't imagine going thru labor without it. It is definitely a God sent. The anaesthesiologist specifically told me after injecting and I was doing better "So now you don't believe all the horror stories you read online right?". I don't know why he said that lol :)

    Hi,

    I have a due date on 10th Nov and what I have read is epidural is safe and my sister in law had epidural and had normal delivery.

    Even I am nervous about my delivery. Let c how it happens.
