    Dear Saraswathi,
    Thank you for the nice fb. Nature is so amazing that we can do very little justice through words and poems. The real feelings that we go through while enjoying the beauty of nature's creation cannot be brought out in words. This poem may be a millionth of the feelings that were undergone.

    Shanthi, very true,irrespective of the time span, what you achieved or the good deeds are what will remain and be remembered.If a butterfly, that has a short life can give us so much joy, why many humans wile away precious time snatching the happiness of others through negative qualities like jealousy, suspicion, vengeance etc. I don't get it?!

    Dear Navalji,
    This was one of my casual poems in a pleasant mood when I saw a yellow butterfly going from flower to flower on a grass bed in search of nectar. I was going to the market on my routine errands when this tiny butterfly, frail looking(may be it was nearing its last few hours of life) , even though weak was trying to survive as long as possible. I felt it had a zest to live its life complete. Even with its frail wings, it was trying to escape from its predators which made me wonder,'Even these less fortunate creatures want to live life to the fullest! Why is it that we humans with the power to rule the world give up so easily?' This is the secret behind the composition of the poem.Thank you sir, for having enjoyed it, both in colour and spirit.

    You seem to be new to my thread. Welcome! Even I as a child used to chase butterflies and dragonflies! Nature has a bounty to sooth our tired souls. If only we look around, we can make our life happier and more meaningful.
