Rajinigaantham- A Magnetic Personality

We all know him. We all adore him. Many perform abhishekams on his cutouts.

A legion of fans become delirious on seeing him. What has he done to these people?

Is he a magician? No.. Is he a learned genius? No…. Is he a reputed saint? NO…of course not…..

But an ordinary man who rose from a humble “bus” track to “Himalayan” heights !

Well, you must have guessed by now whom I am referring to. Yeah, you are right…he is Rajinikanth, who has “conducted” himself so well that he is in the “driver’s seat” of the film industry !

What motivated me to talk about "Rajinigaantham -- the Magnetic Personality", who attracts millions of people all over the world?

Though I am not faddish about any film personality , but I must admit that I was visibly moved to tears when I saw him bag the NDTV Indian of the Year of the Award (Cinema) in Youtube. See Youtube link below.

What a humble man !! He exudes simplicity and humility while answering the questions. Found him absolutely unassuming and endearing.

Just imagine, everybody from the audience like Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan addressing him “Sir” and being in awe of him ! The audience eagerly listened to every word he uttered !!

Though I am not comparing him with any learned men, I must say that I am absolutely inspired by his phenomenal and larger-than-life image brought about by his endearing personality, enduring hard work and of course, his style of acting and charisma.

One need not be academically qualified or born with a silver spoon to become what he is today. ( I say this without any offense/prejudice to well educated clan of people.)

Imagine a human being without any extraordinary academic background and affluent backing rising to stardom and beyond !!
By sheer hard work and dedication in his profession, he has won the hearts of people.

The fact that he personifies simplicity and humility (despite his fame and well-earned wealth) cannot be disagreed.

No doubt he is number one in a million and a darling of the masses.

You have rightly named him Rajinigaantham.He is a very magnetic personality ,very simple ,down to earth,and most of all HUMBLE AND MODEST. Thanks for sharing.

Hi krithika,

When i saw the title did not seriously infer it was about Rajini.

A very simple human being setting a good example of a reformed person.(had the opportunity to read a lot about him, was it a serial in one of the magazines during my childhood..)

The whole film fraternity and other dignitaries were in awe, when he went to take the award. I had seen the live telecast.

Hope his fans do learn from him.

Dear Jithiks,
As I read the title is knew there could be one person whom you were talking about, and I was right. He exudes simplicity and does not live like the demi god that many worship him to be. Someone who does not want to hide himself behind make up and flashy clothes speaks extempore, well, he is definitely worth emulating!!!
'Gatham' is what draws young and old alike to him!!!
