    Hi,
I was past due date without any indication of labour with my DS. Doc tried partially breaking my water to induce labour and it worked. I started getting labour pains within few hours. But there was no dialation above 1cm until next morning so they admitted me and gave pain inducing injections. It was just like any other injection. the intensity increased and pains were pretty close together after that.
Inducing works well. There are no side effects as such. Only thing is the contractions are little more painful than normal ones. But labour is already so painful, who can compare the difference. I'm not saying this to scare you just giving facts as you want to be prepared.

Now the remedy part, focus, prepare your mind. However long, short, painful or bearable your labour is, at the end of it you are going to see your little bundle of joy. It is definitely not going to last forever.
Secondly, the back massage. It works wonders. I was walking around in the room and whenever I had pain, I would stand holding the cot and bend down a little. My mom would rub my lower back inside out with both hands. Trust me felt like 10% of the pain. Check who in your family is good with that massage and keep them close.

    All the best

    Hi Cool10,
Congrats on the arrival of your little one.
Even I had lactation problems in first few days. Doc prescribed me Lactare and it worked well. Did not have low supply for 1.5 years until weaning off.
The most important thing my doc told me was that lactation is induced by your feelings the most. So if you are nervous, worried and convinced yourself, nothing will work. Believe that you want to breastfeed and its necessary for your LO. Feed your LO some formula and then let her latch on. She will be less cranky even if low supply. Try this at night while atmosphere is very calm and she is sleepy.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Friends,

    My C Section Story:

I got admitted on 18th Morning 6 am exactly in hospital.
I take dinner at 8.30 Pm 17th night and 1 Glass milk at 9.30 pm.
Then i don't swallow any water.

First they did report like ECG of baby heart beat in graph sheet.
Then collect my blood and take blood test.
Then just syringe my blood and insert again in same place. I don't get any allergies.
Then they put TT and prepare me for c section.

Me and my DH only put admission.
I get ready at 7 am.

Then they provide enema at 9.30 am. Then they check test dose of antibiotics. It doesn't made any allergies. Then they take me Theater at 10.45 am.

When i enter theater my DS came there. While i was leaving he starts to cry. This made my BP high!

Then anesthesia specialist helps me to reduce High BP. Then he give spinal anesthesia.

But it take very late to me to effect. So all gets tensed. There were 3 more c sections are after me continuously.

This made my BP high again. But i cooperate well with them. So next they provide IV injection, that made me sleep.

In middle i hear my DS Voice well and get relaxed. Then my gyn wake up me and showed him. then i shifted to sterilized room near by theater.

Anesthesia doctor wake up me and ask about my health and i ask him about my DS and gets relaxed.

Then they shifted me to room. Then they provide continuous trips and antibiotics.
    I discharged at 22nd evening!

    That enough!

@vandhenakrish Congrats on the arrival of your li'l one

@dibu DD is 1 month already? How is the sleeping and feeding pattern? Hope you are having fun. My son is couple of weeks old now. He needs his mommy by his side all the time and I'm enjoying motherhood. He feeds and sleeps most of the time. Stays awake for some time occasionally. When he is awake he stares at every thing with wide eyed wonder. Generally he is a calm baby. Cries when he is hungry or wets his nappy.

    How is everyone doing?

    Dear buddies,

Delivered a baby boy on 30th November. It's a normal delivery and both of us are doing fine. Breast feeding is difficult because of cracked nipples. Still managing to breast feed with the pain. Will share my birth story soon.

Congratulations to all who delivered. Take care mommies!!!
