    Hi ppl,

    Is epidural given at hospitals now?? Especially in south ?? Few of my frendz r asking me to check with my doctor this time .. But I m scared to ask .

    Actually wat does it do n wat r AL d pros & cons .. Though I HV one more week this wait really kills .. Also mil s even too centric towards nvd .. She did not open up though .. Lot of final stresses hitting my head .. So let's see .. How r u ppl .. Do update

    Hi friends!
    We blessed with a second baby boy!
    We both are doing good!
    My DS1 gets disappointed!
    But now he show his care on lil one!
    Still in hospital!
    I just able to walk without any help!
    No family plan!
    Will go home Sunday!

    Hi VandhenaKrish my sis had epidural in 2005 itself in Salem. So it should be available in Chennai I guess. Ask your Dr and check the pros and cons. Best wishes,

    girls,

    i delivered my baby boy on 18th november.It was NVD.came home from hospital on 20th. both my DS and me are doing good.

    My Birthing story:

    noticed bloody discharge on 17th night and went to the hospital. doc checked me and said i was 4 cms dialated.got admitted at 12 mid night. but there was no progress even by next morning. pain and contractions were not getting stronger.So doc administered drips. by 2 pm, my water broke and then things started speeding up. by 3 pm, i was begging for epidural.Doc checked me and said i was fully effaced so epidural was not an option.i was shifted to labour room by 4.30 and my son was born before 5.30. Episiotomy stitches hurt. but i am coping. Me and DH are absolutely thrilled about becoming parents. Every thing about my LO is a wonder for us. grateful to god almighty for this blessing. Thank you to IL and all the friends here for the emotional support ,help and tips.
