    If I have to cook 1 cup brown rice, how much of water do i need to add and how many whistles do i need to keep it for

    Depending on the quality of rice it is 1:2. For one cup of rice two cups of water. Three whistles, reduce the flame to minimum and keep it for five minutes and off the stove.
