    Regarding your mail.

    Dear Jaya,
I have given Mysore Bisibela in this forum, which you can find out by search - not in Ask Chitvish, but before that. That does not have veggies, but peanuts. If you want my recipe with veggies, please write, I shall post it. Tomato bhath - my version, I shall send. But do you want biryani which is all over the net ? ! If you want my version, I can post, no problem. Please let me know.
    regards,
    Chithra.

    rice recipes & feedback

    Dear Mrs Chitra,

I tried the Kalyana gotsu and it came out very well. Is this the same as Chidambaram gotsu?

Will it be possible to post the recipes for all these rice dishes- vegetable bisibela, tomato baath and biriyani (your versions).

Also, will it be possible to give the recipe for kalkkandu sadam?

No hurry, though. Thanking you in advance.

    best regards
    Vidya

The recipes will be posted !

    Dear Vidya,
Thanks for your mail. I am not sure if kalyana gotsu & Chidambaram gotsu are the same. In fact I have not heard of Chidambaram gotsu !
Yes, I shall post all those recipes - but mine are quite mild & not very spicy ! This is just a "warning" !
    Regards,
    Chithra.

    Dear Chithraji:
I am eager to know how many people will generally your recipes serve?

i made only half the measure of the ootapam and other recipes and it was more than sufficient for me, hubby and my 2 1/2 yr old.

    Thanks

    Seetha

my recipe is generally for 4

    Dear Seetha,
My recipe generally serves 4. For oothappam, I specially mentioned that half of it can be frozen & used later. I don't normally recommend freezing of all doughs- but this one & aappa mavu are better after 2,3 weeks, if frozen.
    Regards,
    Chithra.
