    Hi all,

I have been suffering from ear ache since June. We visited doctor and they gave me antibiotics for 10days.. it was fine and then again it started. When ever I go out i keep cotton and it helps. Also when ever I wash my hair and go out, my head is hurting. I feel kind of water accumulated in head. I had a very long hair and had to cut cos of this. i take tablets and it relieves temporarily. Any suggestions to cure it completely.

Some years ago I went to an ear/nose/throat doctor as I had some persistent problems in the ears. He gave one home remedy: take a pint of isopropyl alcohol and put in one tablespoon of vinegar to make an acidulated alcohol. You can use this in the ear.

Whenever I have health problems that don't seem to fall into an obvious category, I go to the chiropractor and possible also the acupuncturist.

I also faced this problem last year. It seems sinus. Before going to bed inhale steam by covering boiling water with a towel......This is the best remedy I can suggest...... I tried it and was benefitted .....

Hi, it seems to be sinus. My ayurveda doctor suggested some tips.
When washing your hair, keep your mouth full of water. Don't swallow it. You can spit it and take some more water, if you feel like it.
Cover your head wen going out early morning or night.
When taking steam inhalation, you can add tulsi, betel leaves, eucalyptus oil in water and inhale the steam.

Hey you are being a bit vague...do u have discharge from ear? Do u have fever? Do you get a ringing sensation in your ear? When u say water has accumulated do u mean u feel fullness in one or both ears?

Ok...looks like u might have maxillary sinusitis...but it is difficult to say for sure without examination and an X-ray. Please go to ent specialist so u can get it confirmed. Depending on the extent of involvement, you and the specialist can then decide the treatment option best suited to you. Right now it is premature to discuss treatment options without a diagnosis.
