    Hi Rajini,

This book, a sequel to 'The Celestine Prophecies' is equally mind-blowing...

Guess you'd have read 'The Celestine Prophecies' too!

What an amazing book, I read the book again last year to get a 'fresh insight' into the history and civilization of the Inca... before my trip to Peru to visit Machu Picchu last year...
    a totally awesome place, a must-see...

    Hi Rahesh!

Saavi's story of a wedding in Washington, with Lalli and Panch, if I remember right? What an imagination and that too so many years ago... I think it was in the 1960's that i read the story in Ananda Vikatan or some such magazine. Later on, they even enacted the story as a drama in Safire theatre in Madras (as Chennai was called in those days)!

They had erected a driveway in the centre of the theatre for the car to drive in for the Jaanavaasam! I forget the troupe who did such a wonderful job, sambandhi shandai and all....

    Sigh! going all nostalgic....

    Hi dark_angel,

I like S L Bhyrappa's books... specially enjoyed the book that spoke of the Glory of Gayatri where he described at length Sage Vishwamitra's quest for being acknowledged a BrahmaRishi by the great Sage Vasishtha and also his composing the Gayatrh Mantra

Haven't read The Veil yet, it's now on my to-read list...thanks to your post
