Hi, We have agarbathi or calenders with gods on them. How do we dispose them once we are done with the contents???. I feel guilty if I just throw them in the dustbin :hide:. Yes I do avoid buying brands with gods on them but sometimes I end up with them!
Dear Friend If the packaging is in paper you can simply burn them the way you burn the agarbathis etc.
Hi, You can throw them in the sea if u can or just put it in the running water stream, atleast there would be a lake nearby you know.........do not throw it in dustbin.....
Hi...I had the same question few years ago. Dont throw everything in the sea or lake and pollute it. (No offence to anyone here). I usually recycle them and use the recycled paper for my toddlers paintings...or sometimes i burn them.
Calendars you may throw them in Sea since it is a paper no harm to water as well. But try to not to purchase any Calendars more . I have Last year Calendar of TTD I am still using it at my home
Agarbathi has Kumara Swamy Picture. New Towels purchased from local stores in village have Kumara Swamy, Venkateshwar Swamy stickers on them. Rice bags here in amricai...have Lakshmi Devi on the bag. .... how to dispose... no way... i have the same problme..... yeah no other way..practical tip: if there is someone who can dispose them off without any guilt...then let them do it. heheeh sorry not much help........
I usually put all those calendars carrying god image to paper man. But in USA I just keep it myself. I can give you an idea, cute the image from the calendar, buy a photo frame, insert the picture, keep it in pooja room or give it to somebody who loves it. Sometime my patti (grandma), MIL follow this method for their favorite god images that comes in the spiritual magazines.
