wedding gift for a friend in India

I have to send a wedding gift for a friends sister(female) in India.
Can anyone suggest what could be a good option.My budget is around $50
I would like to send some thing which can be easily taken so that there is no problem for the baggage weight.
I thought cosmetics gift sets will be a good idea .Any places where I can buy good ones within my budget?
