    Hi friends,

    Iam having a 5 months old boy, currently i am giving him Gerber rice cereal, barley cereal and home made apple and carrot purees..
    There are lot of ideas and new healthy recipes suggested here but I am confused about what to feed him next..
    I also dont get all the items for preparing sathu maavu kanji..
    Please suggest me on this...

    thanks to vj,shanvy,ramya mams for this forum we are going to be blessed as our parents and in laws are living away from us this forum is like our inlaw and mums recipie . thanks heaps again . i will try these recipies for my son and bubba for sure .

    Hi VJbunny...

    i have a question... after reading the recipe of Wheat-Green Gram Malt.. which u mentioned in your post...
    Green Gram dal.. we have to soak it and dry it and then roast it or roast it directly....??

    Wheat-Green Gram Malt
    Wheat - 1 kg
    Green Gram gal - 600gm
    Groundnut 250gm

    Roast separately till nice aroma emanates and powder when cool. Store in air tight container.
    Use as above

    no. i prefer it to be cooked well for small kids..though i make laddoo out of the same without roasting again for my kids who are teenagers.

    one of my relative told me about easum baby cereal,i am giving this to my 9 months old daughter
    ladies please tell me about this,is it nutritious one
    this is a baby cereal made of rice and moong dal
