This is an intresting post. I loved reading all the reasons for the user ids.

Mine is indeed very simple. I joined IL as soon as I became a mother(though I was never active since then).
And I used my id to be after my daughter's name. Akshara is my daughter's name who is going turn 3 this May.

I came up with the user name because I believe that I the heroine of my life. My life is filled with loads of drama.

Creating things by hand is what interests me the most. The satisfaction that it provides to make something of your own is simply something else. Right from school days have been experimenting with hand embroidery, fabric painting and an occasional canvas and so felt handmade would be the best choice. Would really like to learn so much from the wonderful people out here.
