Thanks for your suggestion. What do you use to bath your baby.
My mom made a powder with besan, turmeric, vasambu. Is it good to use?

I'm using Johnson's head to toe body wash....
Using natural things is always good...it won't hav any side effects...i've tied vasambu in my LO's hand...the smell of vasambu prevents vomiting...

@ovivijay besan makes skin dry. I was also using homemade powder initially. My DD used to get rashes. Later I switched to J&J head to toe wash. Immediately after bath, I applied J&J moisturizing lotion. During fall/winter months I applied moisturizer atleast 3 times a day. Slowly rashes disappeared and did not come back.

I still gave oil bath once a week using homemade powder.

i also tried California baby products. Found them to be good too. J&J itself helped anyways.

My son got rashes on his body at 6 weeks because we used Mothercare oil/lotion. This is slightly perfumed. My Pediatrician recommended Cetaphil soap liquid and Cetaphil lotion. With that his rashes were gone in 2days. For such young babies, sty away from fragranced products nd any besan/turmeric.
