12 month old baby not showing interest in eating

    Hi everyone...

    i am in a critical situation, i don't know what to do.. because, my 12 month old boy is not at all showing interest in eating..if i give anything to eat he turns his face left to right..sometimes he eats while playing with toys.. but next day if i do the same he refuses to eat... i have tried many ways..now he is underweight but he is active.. much worried about his health.. also he is not having any teeth...
    here is his daily menu..(not feeding BM)
    8am - FMilk
    10am - 1 idly with FMilk mixed
    Lunch - rice mixed with dhal and ghee and egg
    evening snack - biscuits
    dinner - 1 idly

    what should i do to show him interest on food... pls help

    give him variety of food....like smoothies (every time change fruits) instead of biscuits,
    sometimes for dinner boil oats with milk+ water and a bit of salt for taste,
    Lunch -smash rice and mix with yogurt and whatever curry you make and make it smooth.

    Hi,
    i m mother of 1yr old boy....You can read a book on weaning a child....the book by Annabel karmel on starting solids is very good,i find it very useful for my kid.he has given tips and recipes for kids so that they should enjoy eating.
    Try this out.

    thank you kuckoo for your reply.. as per yr suggestion i m giving him smashed foods only.. but i didn't tried variety of foods or fruits.. i'll try that also...
