Dear IL's, This is my first post and started of with my interested topic cooking I thought of sharing with a sweet Ladoo Ingredients 1 cup of Vermicelli 1/2 cup of Sugar (Powder) Cashew Almonds Cardamom Powder Pinch of Saffron Ghee In a frying pan, put 2 spoons of ghee and roast them well. Keep them aside to cool. After the vermicelli is cooled, in a grinder grind the vermicelli. Ensure it shudn't be fine powder. In a pan add 2 more spoons of ghee fry chopped cashew, almonds. Allow them to cool. Later add the powder vermicelli, sugarpowder, cardamom powder, pinch of saffron mix and bind it in the form of ladoo. Luv, Malathi
Very Tasty recipe! we can make so many varieties of ladoos- as1)Besan ladoo,2) Sooji (Bombay Rava) ladoo,3) Bhundhi ladoo,4) Kaju (cahew nuts)+badam ladoo etc. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
laddu is my fav sweet. i will try this vermicelli laddu. one doubt - can it be preserved for 2-3 days? andal
These laddus can be saved for a week Andal ... U plz use normal Wheat Vermicelli but roasting is a must Krithi Venugopal.. Thanks for the wonderful responses... I wl post one more recipie shortly...
