Dear friends: I would request your esteemed help. What types of files do DVD support ? The reason behind this is, my kid loved a telugu rhyme which was playing in my neighbour house. he will go their daily to watch those rhymes in system. We have other rhymes cd too.. but dont know why he is interested only in those selective rhymes :bonk I asked my neighbour to copy those rhymes in a pen drive and copied those again in to CD.. but unfortunately these rhymes are not playing in my DVD player, it says unsupported file format.. the files are in .mp4 type.. So please advice me how to go about it.. in which format do i need to convert to play in DVD.. i use nero burn for copying files into CD.. please help.
Elo Deepa It wont work in such a way. All DVD players play MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video and AC-3 or PCM (eg, WAV) audio... virtually all of them will also play MPEG Layer 2 audio. Ask the neighbour to write a CD for you or go with this link: it might work, after a conversion based on the format possibly...: D2MP 4.32 - VideoHelp.com Downloads
Hi In genera,l All mp3, mp4,mpeg, vob, avi, dat formats must play in all DVD players. Some old DVD players does not support latest codecs(Mpepg-4) of MP4. Try to use this software to covert the files into other DVD compatible format and then write into DVD/CD. Default format for DVD is VOB and Dat for CD Video Converter.
