History repeats itself

Lakshmi was just thinking how she passed these 30 years of
married life. Before marriage she used to dream a lot. In life
though she did not get what she wanted but she was the
person who was happy in what she got.

She was from a middle class family. Her father expired when
she finished her X Std. Her brother was only looking after
her and her sister and another brother. He also saw many
alliances and finally she was married to Shiva.

Shiva is a very nice man but was very economic. Since he had a big
family and had to struggle in life he spent money only for
things which are very necessary. Whereas Lakshmi wanted
everything the best. Shiva was staying in a Chawl when
they got married. Since both were working then they could
shift to a flat. Lakshmi also adjusted to Shiva's way of life.
Shiva was short tempered and a practical man. He did not
like people whoshow off. When Lakshmi used to say that
should also have everything like the latest furnitures etc
Shiva used to say that if people come to see our house
whether we have everything etc. then let them not come.
Let them come for us , for the love which we show not
for the house, or to see whether we have got all the
furnitures etc. Since Lakshmi adjusted with Shiva they
had a peaceful life. Children were born and at the right
age they were married.

Her younger daughter was married to Kannan who was
a double graduate plus he had done MBA. He was also
same like Shiva. Sometimes Lakshmi used to think that
Kannan should have born to Shiva. Kannan was very
economic. He had his own flat and Shiva's daughter
had to adjust with him. She also like her mother never
used to argue for anything and adjusted to her new life.
Though Shiva had car he never used to go in it always.
Some places they used to go walking. He was very good
in saving money.

Shiva did not have much money so he
used to spend less, because of which he could save
money , get his children married and enjoy his retired life.
Where as Kannan had money, he had two houses, a car
but still he will spend only if necessary. He wanted his
wife to go to work and learn to live independently.

So in life if u adjust u will have a peaceful life. Marriages
are made in heaven. Dont you think that history has
repeated itself.
