Thanks for the replies. Hope u all have started with a positive mood today morning. I have tried to as well. Just to keep updated, it has been frosty and below 0 degrees since yesterday. The morning is cold but lovely and the city of London is looking extremely beautiful today. Autumn and winter are lovely seasons here though we do not have snow.

Hi, my name is Bharathi. New to this forum, already found a lot of useful tips and ideas here!!!

A little abt myself- born and brought up in "Singara Chennai". Moved to NJ after marriage in 2000. Yes, married for almost 8 years now... still cant believe it. Time seems to run so fast here.

I work in a financial data providing company. No kids yet.

My parents are in Bangalore, so is my only brother. My sister lives in Australia.

Love to read (fiction only ) and cook. am very friendly and helpful. Like to smile and laugh a lot.

Hope to get to know some people here and share ideas.

A big Hello to everybody

I chanced upon this site while surfing casually. It seems to be a fantastic platform to meet new people and share experiences.

Allow me to introduce myself.

I was born and brought up in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1lace>Hyderabad</st1lace></st1:City>/ <st1:country-region><st1lace>India</st1lace></st1:country-region>. Did all my schooling and university studies in the same city. I am married to a wonderful husband who is also my best friend.

I moved to <st1:country-region><st1lace>Canada</st1lace></st1:country-region> 3 years ago just after I got married leaving behind my family and friends. From there on life's been busy--Adjusting to a new role, new country, a new home away from home. But I am thoroughly enjoying this new chapter in life.

My job keeps me busy for the most time and then it’s my hubby and house. I love to watch Bollywood movies during weekends and catching up with family and friends from back home.

Anybody here from around Toronto?. May be we can meet up.But it really does not matter as I believe that its people who should connect and not cities.
