moving to alexandria, va any suggestions?

Hello IL's,

Need some help from you guys. My husband and i are planning to move to/around Alexandria, VA as his new job will now be in alexandria and he does'nt want to spend a lot of time in commuting. Need some suggestions on good places to stay in and around zip code 22314 which is his workplace. Looking for a 2 br 2 bath apartment in a budget of approx 1500-1700 p.m.
Preferably a place with indian community around.

Hi neerali,

good to know that you are moving to alexandria. I moved to this place few months(22311), back and could'nt find much of inidan community around this area nor in our apartment.

Rents for 2 br and bth is around from 1000+1600 and so on.

good community with all facilities apartments in 22311 , 22314 and nearby areas.

Archstone Newport village, Lynbrook and Meadow creek , seminary towers, post carlyle square, Avalon at cameron court ,...,

just go thru their sites and check for more details ..
if you need more information just let me know...,

commuting will be easy for you in these areas .,

thank you so much for your help sreya, i was eagerly waiting for a reply from so many days..ya even i heard that there is not much of indian community in alexandria...will have a look at the apartment names u've given me. also i quite liked the apartments at eos21. do you have any idea about them..

well i have no idea about eos apartments but i checked the reviews of these apartment are not quite good and overall rating is only 41%.

just go thru all the apartments reviews , check which one fits perfectly into your budget and commute, go ahead with it.

thanks a lot for your help. i did go through a lot of apartments close to my husbands workplace and liked some of them. we might now go there and have a look personally to finalize one of them. take care

Hi everyone,

We were moving to alexandria VA next week. My hubby got job in arlington so we are looking for some apartments(where i can find few inidan families around) near to this area, i guess alexandria will be great.
Plsssssss......suggest some apartments in alexandria????, i would love to join with all you guys.
