    Dear Mathu,
Let me share with you - the posts of all of you mean much more than mere FBs, they are the outpouring of love!!
To cook for 25 people, with a sweet, managing near-triplets is no mean achievement! Kudos to you!:thumbsup
The old man was gracious enough to bless you abundantly!!
Do come home in Nov, without fail.
    Love,
    C

    Dear Madam

Today made Lachha Paratha and Palak paneer. Palak Paneer cameout very nice. I have used freshly grounded Punjabi Garam Masala and this gave nice aroma, taste and took less time to prepare.Lachha paratha is a repeated fb and turned out very well.

    Thank you so much.

    With best regards

    Chitra,

I love your recipes. I know you have too many things on your plate.

Do you have any plan of publishing your cook book?

If you do, please let me know. I want to purchase the first book.

    Thanks a lot. :bowdown

    Dear Chidambari,
    ABSOLUTELY 'RAVISHING' PHOTO!!:thumbsup
I MEAN IT AS A GREAT COMPLIMENT WHEN I SAY THAT THE SLANTING STYLE IS VERY SIMILAR TO RAJI'S!!
If I try like that, I end up, toppling everything :biggrin2:
The layers of lacha paratha are so clearly visible. Freshly ground flavour has no match!!
    great FB!! Thanks.
    Love,
    C.

    Dear 'same pinch',
    Sorry to disappoint you!:-(
At this age, running behind a publisher, documenting recipes, indexing , investing money - not possible at all. I love to be independent as much as possible - for this, I must necessarily ask my children for help.
Most of all, such 'on the spot' FB pleasure will not be there!!
    IL irukka bayam aen??:hide:

My weekend was great as usual with all your treasure...

Friday for dinner we had some guest who preferred tiffin items.. so i made kuzhi paniyaram with tomato kulambu, macroni tomato, ball & stick payasam, bread curd vada ohh i fell in love with this bread curd vadai which helped me a lot during my fasting, me and S too loved it a lot... even the guest asked so many items( i felt its less only coz dinner) i said cooking is not the issues only choosing what item from our chituumma receipes is difficult for me... everything came out very and i did'nt have any leftovers... thanks again...

saturday was arachuvitta sambar with yam masial, rasam and pappad. that was great lunch during weekend... ..

today for box i had given phulkas i made beetroot peanut pitlai... how can i miss doing something if its new... will get the fb from S after his lunch... peanuts alone i boiled ysterday itself and stored coz morning it will be difficult.. it came out very well i tasted and its very very yummy new taste for me with peanuts... .. thank you again for everything ...

    Dear Vahee,
Such a loving & deligtful FB from you!
I too find it easy to make a list of tiffins than other items.
Believe me, bread dahi vada is not always foolproof - you seem to have perfected it!!
I am a lover of peanuts & liked the pitlai with rice, dosai etc!
Today it is beet-peanut raitha!! Will post it. One can make a meal of it - so nice!!
Arifa phoned to me - a pleasant enjoyable surprise!!
    Love,
    C.

    Hi Chihra Ma'am,

Its just super great to have u back :).Eppo than IL'la kalae katuthu!!!:)...
I just tried a few new recipes--Capsicum Rice,Brinjal Rice and Trifle!:)
From now onwards..will be very very active again..now that you are back..:)
Chithrama,I tried making the Khara Bun last week, the taste was very very good, but after baking, the outside of the bun was very hard...is it because of the dough not being risen properly..? This whole month being Puratasi month..I will not being doing any baking using eggs...so thought that this would be the right time to start trying out the recipes using yeast..I havent tried any recipes using yeast..
The yeast which I use is the one available in Niligris..not the fresh yeast but the Active dry yeast..pls advise me in this..

    love
    mamtha
