Anyone watching the serial Baa Bahoo aur Baby?
I like the serial Baa Bahoo aur Baby running on Star Utsav very much. Of course it is a rerun of the serial. But the serial has some superb acting by the lead actors. It is a homely kind of serial. Each episode has every day problems faced by ordinary middle class families.
It is a matriarchal setup. Baa holds the reins of the family and dispenses justice with an even hand. Her word is final and everyone respects her decision. She has a soft corner for “Baby” her daughter who is afflicted with polio.:thumbsup

I too watch this serial. I like the character of Gattu. In one of the episodes, Gattu falls asleep in a truck and the truck goes to Calcutta and the whole family goes in search of him, Baa has sleepless nights... he is finally located and brought back to the relief of everyone around.
In the episode telecast tonight, Baby rejects a suitor.The suitor wanted her to go shopping for vegies at 6am and go to the chakki at 8am to bring fresh ground atta for his roly-poly mom.
Any how all power to Baa in managing the affairs of the family.:thumbsup
