    Dear Usha,
Is oats so popular, when adapted in our cooking??
I did add boiled vegs. Now, I wonder if I have forgotten to mention it in the recipe. I will edit & add. Thanks for the prompt FB, Usha.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear mami,
Today I did idlis for breakfast. Normally i used 3:1 proportion, Rice & ulunthu. But this is the first time i am using Aval. The idlis are very very soft. Actually my husband doesn't like idlis, called it "marana urundai", took 2 more idlis.
Planned to do Garlic kuzhambu for dinner. i'll send FB tomorrow.

    Hello chitra maami,

your recipes are very good. I would also like to know if there are any preparations out of oats. oats are generally bland when tasted.
The packet gives some easy to recipes. like soaking in water and decant the water (on top) and then add milk and honey/sugar and eat.
But I am not that happy with this.
Let me know if there are other recipes.

    Kalyani

    Dearest Chithu,
Today morning for breakfast, i made a humble coconut chutney(fried gram one) and dosai since i had to stay at work till 1 AM this morning.
I never used to temper coconut chutney like saravana bhavan(they give a squeaky clean white one) R like it that way..But today i tried to temper it with mustard and little urad dhal, red chilli and curry leaves.....and it was simple out of the world!!!

R liked it very much and had 3 helpings of chutney and me too :):):)

How small nuances help enhance the taste:thumbsup.....Thank you!
