Oh my! It is sad that animals also have this dreadful disease. Maybe I'd like to see animals, something to ponder.
Yes it’s doable. Mostly tourists visit Falkland Islands,South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands, South Orkney Islands, South Shetland Islands,Antarctic Peninsula and islands. Machu Picchu is as amazing as it’s name. When we had visited there was no mandate of having a guide to,we did a self guided tour. You can collect souvenir stamp at the entrance also on lake titicaca. Never forget visit Vinicunca also known a rainbow mountain. If you love beaches resorts Ibiza looks cool place to enjoy. We chose Mallorca island over Ibiza due its historic places along with nature.
I started traveling solo at 18. Most of my travels were within India- mostly for scientific conferences but also for fun if I was in a new place. Since moving to the USA at 25, I have traveled solo all over the USA, Europe, Africa, Australia, etc. You need to know your surroundings, book tours with reputed companies (I prefer Expedia) and have fun! I have traveled by my car, Greyhound bus, trains, and plains---pretty much every way! I enjoy traveling both with family and solo at my own pace. You pick the place according to what you love and have fun!
