It was afternoon. Sitting in balcony, I was drinking a syrupy tonic a spoonful. A drop of it, I left it on top of a large matured leaf of a tall badam tree whose branch was close. A while later returned again to balcony to have a glimpse of a procession lead by a pall-bearer. It was then I had a glance over that leaf. Twelve ants have gathered to have a party around that droplet of syrup on that leaf. I was amazed to look at that disciplined scene. The ants have divided themselves into four groups. That is probably to maintain the balance of the syrup-drop from sliding and gliding and falling off to the ground. It is intelligence of ants to cooperate mutually and divide the share of syrup-drop equally among them and give everyone his right share. While humans are having animal instinct at times, here I was non-plussed looking at how ants are being ever human.
@Mistt thanks for awarding a like. As an exponent of Nature photography, through your thread “my Random Snapshots” you enthused the fellow IL’ites with hundreds of captures of places of archeological interest, verdant greens, serene sylvan surroundings et al . Therefore, I was expecting your valuable comments for the image of Ants over honeyed leaf! @Tubinbataye Thanks for visiting here. I presume it is an expression of delight more than a query.
Thank you for remembering my thread and your kind opinion on my captured images. You had clicked a worthy image of Ants's unselfish unity and picture looks Crystal clear. I really impressed Ants sharing character of everything they get and we should learn many good things from them.
Sir, It's a query. The picture looks so perfectly clear, that no normal vision could see . I can clearly see the ant's abdomen, thorax, antenna, legs, the veinlets of the leaf. Wonderful macro Photography.
